Our hosting services were introduced 21 years ago in 2003. We were the first to offer hosting and this length of service and continued growth clearly shows our leadership in providing hosting. Harting EAP is committed to the most rigorous third-party security standards as attested to by the following external auditors.
An annual external audit is completed by a certified AICPA firm utilizing SOC II, Type 2 standards. An extensive report is available.
We have an external company, certified to conduct a HIPAA Compliance Audit, complete a thorough audit and they provide an Attestation Letter confirming full compliance with HIPAA standards.
Penetration/Vulnerability Audits are conducted monthly by one external company and annually by another national Pen Testing company. These tests provide an outside test of our security safeguards. These tests evaluate our software as to the most frequent (OWASP) security vulnerabilities as well as internal and external penetration reviews.

We are a U.S. based company and do not use off-shore programmers or data hosting partners for our databases or for backup.
The first Affiliate/Provider Portal in the EAP World was introduced by Harting EAP in 2013. Security of this Patient Health Information (PHI) is of the utmost importance. Our Portal is on a separate web-site with a special security configuration that keeps customer data safe. This Portal enables Affiliate Providers to:
Apply on-line to be in your network;
Easily receive Authorizations;
Record their services & sessions;
Invoice you at the same time;
Close cases;
Enter client demographics; and
Track status of payments.
EAPs can easily see the cost savings and reduction in paper work with respect to their internal record keeping.

Working with leading EAP researchers such as Drs. Jodi Jacobson Frey, Dave Sharar and Philip Osteen, allows us to include validated outcome studies in all of our software. We have also initiated several benchmarking projects with specialty groups such as hospitals.
